# Reviewing

> Confirming each card's match, printing and condition on the Review tab

Review shows one card at a time, your photo beside the best match from the catalogue. Accepting a card sends it to Compose. The queue header reads **Card 3 of 12**.

## The match

The pill over the card name says how sure the match is.

| Pill | Meaning |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Confident match | The recogniser is sure of it. A glance is enough |
| Check this one | The recogniser is unsure. Compare the photos |
| No match | Nothing matched. Search by name |
| You picked this | You chose it from the strip or a search |

Tap either photo to zoom. Swipe your photo to see the back.

## Other matches

The strip under the card holds the next best matches, each shown by collector number over set code. Tap one to swap. The first cell, **Search**, opens **Find this card**, a search by name across the whole catalogue.

A card the camera could not read shows a red card with **Search by name** instead of a match. **Accept** stays off until you pick one.

## Printing

Every printing of the matched card is listed with its market price: normal, holo, reverse holo, and stamped printings such as a league promo. **Choose the one you are holding.** The printing sets the price.

The list follows TCGplayer once the price has loaded, so a printing can appear or disappear a moment after the card opens. If the live price cannot load, the list and the prices come from DexFlip's daily price file instead, and each price says how old it is. The file is as old as the app's last refresh of it, so a phone that has been offline since it was installed shows the age of the copy built into the app. Tap **Retry the price lookup** for a live one; when the failure was not worth retrying, the line has no retry. A card the daily file does not cover falls back to the card catalogue alone, which can miss a reverse holo.

| Price line | Meaning |
| ----------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Checking price… | The price is still loading. You can accept anyway |
| Price from 2 days ago · retry | The live lookup failed. This is the daily file's price and its age, which can read hours or days. Tap to try the live one |
| Offline price · retry | The same, from a daily file that carries no date |
| Price unavailable · retry | The price service did not answer and the daily file has no price for this card. Tap to try again |
| No market price · set yours | The market has no price. Set one in Compose |

## Condition

| Button | Grade | eBay condition |
| ------ | ------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| NM | Near mint or better | Near mint or better |
| LP | Excellent | Lightly played (Excellent) |
| MP | Very good | Moderately played (Very good) |
| HP/DMG | Poor | Heavily played (Poor) |

**Condition is optional here.** The grade you pick carries over to the next card. You can set or change it in Compose.

## Queue order

The menu at the top sorts the queue: **Needs attention first** (the default), **Most confident first**, or **Capture order**. The choice is remembered.

## The confirm bar

| Button | What it does |
| -------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Accept | Saves the match, printing and condition, and moves on |
| Skip | Moves on without saving. The card comes back after the last one |
| Previous | Reopens the card you just accepted. **Accept** becomes **Save changes** |

When **Accept** is off, the reason is printed above the bar. See [What stops a listing](/docs/selling/what-stops-a-listing#review).

**Discard this card**, at the bottom of the screen, deletes the card and its photos. It asks first and cannot be undone.

When the queue is empty the screen reads **Queue clear.** under a green check, with three counts: reviewed, corrections and discarded. **Compose 12 cards** (the number is what you reviewed in this sitting) goes to Compose; **Back to Home** goes to Home; **Change the last card** reopens the card you just accepted.

## Notes

* **Previous** only reaches a card that is not yet in a listing. After that, edit it in Compose.
* To fix a card you have already accepted, open it in Compose and tap **Send back to Review**.
