Where to link
The setup sheet from Publish has two steps: Link your eBay, then Selling preferences. If you are already linked it opens on the second.
Linking
1
Tap Link eBay account or Continue to eBay
iOS shows its own alert asking whether DexFlip may use eBay’s site to sign in. Tap Continue. Tapping Cancel closes it. Nothing is linked and no message is shown.
2
Sign in on eBay's page
The page is eBay’s, inside a secure browser sheet. DexFlip never sees your password. If Safari is already signed in to eBay, you may skip straight to the next step.
3
Agree to the access
eBay lists what DexFlip may do: manage your listings and inventory, manage your account’s selling policies, and read your username. Agree to continue.
4
Check the status line
Settings reads Linked to eBay and your username.
When the link expires
eBay ends a link after a long stretch, or when you remove DexFlip’s access on eBay. The next publish then fails with Sign in to eBay again in Settings, and the setup sheet opens as Sign in to eBay again. Sign in and tap Retry on the failed rows.Unlinking
Unlink eBay account in Settings asks first. Unlink forgets the link on this phone. Keep linked changes nothing.- Nothing changes on eBay. Live listings stay live. Your policies stay on your account.
- DexFlip’s access is not withdrawn at eBay. The app simply stops using it. To withdraw it, remove DexFlip from the third-party app permissions in your eBay account settings.
- Your chosen shipping and returns policies are cleared in the app. Your ZIP code and default price stay.
- You cannot unlink while a publish is running. Settings says Wait for the publish to finish before changing the account.
Linking a different account
Unlink, then link the other account. The app clears the policies it remembered, because they belong to the old account. Choose them again in Selling preferences. Listings already live stay on the old account.Notes
- DexFlip lists on eBay US only.
- Sign-in problems are in Troubleshooting.
