The durable copy of everything is on your iPhone, inside DexFlip. There is no DexFlip server and no account with DexFlip. The only copies elsewhere are the ones you send: listings on eBay and exports in your Google Drive. The privacy policy is authoritative. This page is the same facts for somebody using the app.

On your phone

Nothing expires on a timer. DexFlip deletes nothing on its own schedule. You get no warning because nothing goes without you doing it.

What does not expire

  • Published cards. They stay under Published after they sell, until you remove them.
  • Photos of cards you never listed. They stay in Review or Compose.
  • Everything the app created on eBay: listings, policies and the inventory location.
  • Everything the app created in your Drive: the folder, the sheet and the photos.

What goes sooner than you might expect

  • A lot’s card photos are deleted from the phone as soon as the lot publishes. The cover stays, and eBay keeps the photos it was sent.
  • Unlinking eBay also clears the chosen shipping and returns policies in the app.
  • A photo left behind by an interrupted delete is cleaned up the next time the app opens.

Where it lives

Nothing syncs. A second phone does not see the first one’s cards. Location and other metadata are removed from every photo before it is stored.

What is sent, and to whom

The sign-in relay holds the app’s eBay key so it never ships inside the app. It stores nothing. See the privacy policy.

Deleting everything

There is no single button.
  1. In DexFlip, unlink eBay and Google in Settings.
  2. Delete the app. Its storage goes with it.
  3. On eBay, end any listings you want gone and remove DexFlip from your third-party app permissions.
  4. In Google Drive, delete the DexFlip folder.
Deleting the app cannot be undone. Cards, photos and listings not yet published are gone for good, unless an iPhone backup still holds them.

Notes

  • Remove from device on a published card deletes it from the phone only. The eBay listing stays.
  • Deleting a card does not delete its row or photos from your sheet.
